“Live True”, o disco de estréia do Beef, foi gravado, mixado e masterizado no Estúdio Superfuzz por Gabriel Zander e Gabriel Arbex, que também toca baixo no álbum. Já a bateria ficou por conta do músico Leonardo Mitchell. O álbum também tem as participações de Julia Vaz, que empresta sua voz para duas das faixas, e de Lucas Araujo, responsável pelo banjo em cinco das onze músicas de“Live True”.

Segundo Alexandre Marchi, o single “Who Are You?” resume a ideia do título do disco e o modo como a banda pensa. “Essa música fala sobre sair da conformidade em que a maioria das pessoas vive. É um questionamento sobre o que você acredita, sobre quem você realmente é”, explica o vocalista.
